File UploadsUpdated Jun 6, 2026
How do file uploads work?
Uploaded files are sent to the form owner's connected storage provider, not permanently stored on the FormOS server.
Where uploaded files go
When a public user uploads a file, FormOS sends the file to the form owner's active storage provider.
FormOS does not permanently store uploaded file binaries on its server. Submission records store safe metadata such as file name, MIME type, size, provider, and folder/path information.
Supported providers
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
